Our Phone Crisis Supporters answer calls to Lifeline’s national 13 11 14 service, offering immediate and short-term emotional support. Every call is a chance to change — or even save — a life.
You’ll receive comprehensive training through the Crisis Supporter Workplace Training, delivered locally by Lifeline North Coast on behalf of Lifeline Australia RTO 88036. Over 12 months, you’ll complete a combination of online and in-person learning, student placement, and internship, covering:
On completion, you’ll receive a nationally recognised CHCSS00113 Crisis Support Skill Set qualification, including three key units in crisis response and support.
The experience is deeply meaningful. You’ll join a caring, supportive team and develop valuable skills in communication, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
