GambleAware

Gambling can affect more than your wallet — it can impact your relationships, your mental health, and your future. If you’re worried about your own gambling, concerned about someone close to you, or simply want to understand more about gambling and its risks, Lifeline North Coast is here to help.

Our GambleAware Mid & Northern NSW program provides free, confidential counselling and support to individuals and families affected by gambling harm. We offer both therapeutic counselling and specialised financial counselling to help you regain control and find a way forward.

Our services are available to anyone living in the Mid and Northern NSW region — from Laurieton to Tweed Heads. No referral is needed. To speak with someone or make an appointment, call us on 02 6651 4093 between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Whether you’re trying to cut back on gambling, feeling overwhelmed by debt, or simply looking for information, we’re here to walk alongside you. We also support parents who want to have open conversations with their children about gambling and offer free classroom resources for educators.

You’re not alone — and you don’t have to wait for things to get worse before reaching out. Support is free, non-judgemental, and just a phone call away.

Take the first step toward a safer, more informed approach to gambling. Be aware. Be GambleAware.

Let us help point you in the right direction
