Lifeline North Coast’s retail shops are more than just second-hand stores — they’re a vital part of our mission to fund crisis support and suicide prevention services. Volunteering in one of our shops is a practical and rewarding way to give back to your community.

Our Retail Volunteers bring energy, care, and a sense of community to our pre-loved stores throughout the Coffs Coast. These shops raise essential funds that help us continue to provide free, 24/7 crisis support to people in distress. Every donation processed, every item shelved, and every purchase made contributes directly to saving lives.

There are many roles to suit a variety of interests and skills:

  • Retail assistants helping customers and keeping the shop welcoming and tidy
  • Cashiers processing purchases and providing friendly service
  • Warehouse sorters assessing and preparing donations
  • Truck drivers helping transport stock and collections
  • Display designers creating inviting shopfronts and visual merchandising

As a Retail Volunteer, you’ll become part of a close-knit team that values connection, purpose, and community impact. It’s a great way to meet people, stay active, and contribute to a cause that matters.

No previous experience is required — just a willingness to lend a hand and a commitment to Lifeline North Coast’s values of care, respect, and service.
