Denise and Larrissa, from the Lifeline North Coast and GambleAware Comms Team, attended the Community Wellbeing Day in Kempsey on Wednesday 20th April.

When Ian “ENO” Taylor had heard that his colleagues within the Truck Driving Industry, Mark Haines and Tom Seccombe had both died by suicide, he deeply felt the impact of that loss, and wanted to do something to raise awareness that truck drivers needed help and support and wanted a way to encourage others to speak out and seek the help when they needed it, so no other families needed to go through this.

Being a Lifeline North Coast Ambassador is an important role in our North Coast community. Our local Ambassadors are passionate about suicide prevention and supporting mental health, they undertake community engagement activities and participate in Lifeline North Coast events and initiatives.
